Why Do We Need A Girls Human Rights Month?
In February 2025, we launched a campaign to designate February as “Girls Human Rights Month.” This initiative aims to raise awareness and advocate for the rights of girls worldwide, addressing critical issues such as gender-based violence, and gender inequality.
We want to create a dedicated time for reflection, education, and action, encouraging individuals and organizations worldwide to participate in events, campaigns, and initiatives that promote and protect the rights of girls.
By dedicating an entire month to these concerns, GHRH seeks to inspire collective action and foster a global movement committed to empowering girls and ensuring their rights are recognised and upheld.
Throughout February, we want as many individuals, schools, universities, workplaces around the as possible to join our movement. We want you to highlight key issues, share stories, and support young advocates who are leading change in legal advocacy, education, policy development, community empowerment, and digital activism.
