Fieldfisher Hosts Winners of Girls Human Rights Challenge at London Offices
Exclusive meeting offers young advocates first-hand insight into careers in law and human rights

London, 15 September 2025 – International law firm Fieldfisher proudly welcomed the winners of the Girls Human Rights Challenge to their London offices on Friday, 12 September 2025, for an exclusive meeting designed to inspire and support the next generation of human rights leaders.

The Girls Human Rights Challenge was first launched at the Fieldfisher x Girls Human Rights Hub (GHRH) International Women’s Day 2025 event “Legally Empowered: Girls Leading Change”, where students and young advocates were invited to pitch innovative legal solutions to address critical issues affecting girls globally.

During the September meeting, the winners engaged directly with Fieldfisher lawyers, gaining valuable insight into the realities of the legal profession, different pathways into advocacy, and the role of law in advancing girls’ human rights. The session also provided a platform for the young advocates to share their own ideas, aspirations, and experiences, fostering meaningful dialogue with experienced practitioners.

Sultana Tafadar, Executive Director of the Girls Human Rights Hub, commented:

“This experience is about more than recognition – it’s about opening doors. By connecting young people with professionals who have walked the path before them, we give them both inspiration and practical guidance to pursue their ambitions in human rights law. We are grateful to Fieldfisher for their commitment to empowering the next generation of changemakers.”

The Girls Human Rights Hub extended thanks to Justina Omotayo, Zara B., and the wider Fieldfisher team for their continued support.

👏 Congratulations were also given to the winning teams: the GHRH Ambassadors at the Mini Hubs Elmgreen School and Queen’s College London, and Alexandra from Rainham Mark Grammar School, whose creativity and commitment to justice secured them the top prize.
