Programmes Hub
The Programmes Hub is where knowledge becomes action. It is the Academy’s training ground,
where girls move beyond learning and begin to lead, advocate, and create real-world impact.
Through dynamic events, workshops, and global gatherings, participants gain the skills,
confidence, and experiences to become changemakers in their communities and beyond.
How It Works?
The Hub runs a series of structured programmes throughout the year. Each programme focuses on different aspects of leadership, advocacy, law, or peacebuilding. Together, they provide a 360-degree experience of what it means to stand up for rights and create impact.
In more practical terms:
Experiential Learning
Girls don’t just listen to lectures—they participate in interactive workshops, simulations, and challenges. For example, they might take part in a mock negotiation, design a campaign, or present their ideas to a panel of experts.
Practical Outcomes
Each programme is designed to produce something tangible. That could be a campaign plan, a policy proposal, a mock legal argument, or simply the personal confidence to speak up in public for the first time.
Mentorship and Expert Access
Every programme involves direct engagement with lawyers, activists, and leaders who share their journeys and offer guidance. Girls have the chance to ask questions, receive feedback, and build relationships with role models.
Confidence Building
Programmes are designed to strengthen public speaking, teamwork, and leadership skills. By practicing in safe and supportive spaces, girls grow more confident in their own voices.
Global Connections
Participants join peers from around the world, gaining exposure to different cultures and perspectives. This community builds solidarity, reminding girls that their struggles and victories are part of a larger global movement for justice.
Pathways for the Future
The Programmes Hub introduces girls to future opportunities in law, advocacy, and leadership, helping them see how today’s experiences can shape tomorrow’s change.

“Over the past six weeks, I have engaged with leading experts from Oxford University, Harvard Law School, and the International Criminal Court. This programme has enabled me to explore critical issues impacting girls human rights, and the dynamic discussions throughout inspired me. It can be easy to be pessimistic and down-beat about the progress of girls’ human rights but this programme has showed me that hope and real change lives on.
Much thanks to Girls Human Rights Hub and I am looking forward to participating in future programmes and events with them.”
